Botanical Name: Butyrospermum parkii Description: This organic natural butter is extracted from the Shea nut & has a natural colour which as a natural product varies from batch to batch from a creamy white to a greenish tinge and has a rich Earthy aroma. It is mostly for skin care that Shea butter is hailed, for its protecting and moisturising properties. Rich in cinnamon acid, it also protects the skin from UV rays and therefore can be included in skin care products for after sun care. The first choice in natural skin care and fine body care products, this butter forms a breathable, water-resistant film and is the leading natural product for moisturising. A wonderful base for cosmetic recipes or used as a stand alone application, this comes highly recommended for those concerned about naturally healthy skin. This butter will melt at skin temperature. i just received this shea butter and even thought ive just received it today i know im gonna love it i got so much for my money and it was dash shipping it rubs on my skin so smoothy and is not to greasy like some shea butters are its like a nice soft soufflé texture with a nutty smell that disappears not as strong as cocoa butter. The only problem i had which is NOT the companies fault is even thou the package was taped with FRAGILE the dumb delivery guy just threw the package in the porch and it is now a bit damaged i gave that delivery guy a piece of my mind overall a GREAT product

*first of all your packaging is great! No, seriously, it’s nice to know someone cares enough to wrap the product so well! It took me about five minutes to get inside, and it was worth it because:
*second, the unrefined shea butter with its characteristic smell and colour makes a great hydrating ingredient in my self-made body cream, which works wonders: baby soft heels, hands and elbows. And you get accustomed to the smell quite quickly, actually.
So, thanks a lot, you’ve made me happy with your product!

Really love this product, it’s great for my baby’s skin and I use it on her twice a day to help stave off eczema. The product came really quickly too! It’s very reassuring to know that it’s all totally what it says on the tin!

Arrived very quickly, but unfortunately is not good for daughters skin type. Not sellers fault tho! Would def use shop again for diff products.

I was very pleased with this product. It arrived promptly and was carefully packaged for posting.
The smell is not exciting, but you could always whip it up with some essential oils (please watch out for allergies if you do so) to mask it, but it is not a potent smell and it does disappear after a while – in fact one of my sons said that he liked the smell of it, so it’s a matter of personal opinion. We use it straight out of the tub.
I use it both in my hair and on my skin and it’s very moisturising.
Overall, very happy and will definitely order again.

I love this unrefined shea butter, it leaves my hair so moisturized, soft and detangled.
i had a little strugle with the smell at frist, because it was really strong. but then i left it on the counter open, for about 2 days, and it lost that strong smell, now it just smells a little bit like nuts but nothing strong.
now i use it religiously before going to sleep
its really a life saver since i have thick coarse hair, it leaves it feeling like cotton.
i am never going to be without this stuff again

I love this stuff! I put a blob of it in my bath and wash my hair, face and body with African black soap (goes great with shea butter) and my skin feels amazingly clean and moisturized. Also great when used simply as a moisturizer.
The seller (Aromatherapy Shop) were prompt in sending the item and I’m very please with it. It’s a huge tub of unrefined shea butter! At a great price!
